Did a bit more editing and came across this one, not in original set...
it maybe my favorite from this afternoon....

Kay... it is a pathetic attempt to bump my tread...
but I do like this shot!

What do you think?
Hard conditions, really cold, -20C with windchill, snow, early afternoon sun..

Hmmm ok

#3 I like a lot, one of my favorites. Interesting angle with a good balance of sky and ice.

Most of the others have good things about them but don't stand out as much. Some of them feel like they were cropped a little tight...like more sky could have been shown. I also like the newest one but still think 3 is my favorite. Not sure if this helps.

I like these ... possibly due to my Ontario background.

I would like to see more sky involved to balance out the shots.

Did you use a Polarizer ?

Fantastic shots! I really like photo #2, it's gorgeous.

And you have my admiration for braving the cold, too :)

C&C:
1. The bottom half of this image is relatively boring. The ice just doesnt stand out as much as I'm sure you would have liked. Maybe needs a little more contrast.
2. Good composition. I think it needs a new edit, similar to the one you just posted.
3. This one is cool, perhaps my favorite of the bunch.
4. Nice composition, but again I think it needs a new edit too boost the colors and contrast.
5. I think this one has potential. Horizon looks a bit crooked to me. Plus I think a new edit, as with above, would help.
6&7. Both relatively boring subjects and compositions to me.
New edit: I think I like this one the best out of all of them. Nice edit ;)

Overall I think many of them have good potential with a little bit of editing. You've got a beautiful place to shoot. Keep working!!!

I did not use a polarizer as I do not have one for this lens, it's new, and being 77mm will be expensive...
Good point on the more sky, I will look at the originals, I do have some more sky, but for whatever reason
I was VERY crooked and sacrificed a lot of sky to straightening...
