Snow Day!

Well, what passes for a snow day in Atlanta, Georgia....is a dusting of the white stuff and *some* ice under the bridges and overpasses - it's enough to close the schools, since we still use sand on ice, not real salt trucks...

Anyway, it is supposed to stay in the mid-30's all day, no one's going anywhere if they don't have to, even though the roads are clear. I'm doing laundry and making a pot of soup and listening to my kid mauling Jimi Hendrix on his Strat upstairs...

Here were are having a cyclone hit... the water is bashing up agains the piers already... can't wait to get out and take pics!

hey, at least your anti-snow machines work a little bit. Last time it snowed over here those things froze up and became completely useless
