I was at Michigan Tech this weekend for winter carnival. Several of the student groups make massive snow sculptures. If they were being paid $10 an hour each sculpture would cost about $50,000.

Impressive! I was going to ask about how long each one took to make, but I did the math instead. That's a LOT of hours! You did an excellent job on the pictures.
 
hey cowbert,

I remember some your first posts, you are the most improved photographer that i've seen in this forum! Not that your first shots were bad, but you've really done some fantastic work as of late!

This is a great little series of shots too. For me snow and bright sand is quite hard to capture, but this looks good!

the sculptures there are always very amazing. Nice shots, the color balance and exposure was done exceptionally well...

Just think, up there they could build these by digging in the snow rather than piling up the snow :thumbsup:
