Snow Storm at Night

This is the view right out outside of my buildings door. What do you think?

I like the shot. Technicalities aside, it made me feel as if I were there. The star effect on the various lights is nice.

The not-quite-straight lamp post in the upper left is distracting, though, and I'm also distracted by the hexagon shape to the right of the lamp hanging from it. Maybe the hexagon is unavoidable. You might consider cropping the lamp post out.

The leaning light post is annoying now that you mention it, I'll look into it. The hexagon, I believe, is a snow flake that landed on my lens mid exposure.

What technicalities are you putting aside?

Bad phrasing on my part. I just meant the arguable flaws I thereafter mentioned, which really don't qualify as technicalities.

almost would enjoy seeing the an angle that follows the street more than intersect it

I would have one, but I was shooting from the doorway of my building because I am paranoid about getting snow on my camera. I would have had to expose myself to the elements to get that angle. lol
