You have some great potential subjects/elements in this shot. Picnic table in the distance, more of the tree, footprints on the road.
The footprints stand out to me as a great subject to set against the road, when assessing a scene look from all angles. Those prints probably make a cool line if you rotated your view a bit to look down the road a bit more and perhaps lower, they would accentuate the lines of the road that likely caught your attention to begin with.

I second that, your pic has nothing except the road and half of a tree log, you should have raised the camera a little bit, so that bench near the tree is included it the photo, fully. Was that really a bench or something else?
