Going to be attending/crewing/documenting a 24hr race that starts at 10am sat and ends 10am sun; leaving at 5am friday. Going to be interesting.

This has been the most amazing summer so far for VA. Just sad it has to end when I'm going to be outside for 3 days, without much cover, where I have some team portraits planned. Plus doesn't help our chances in winning the 24hr endurance.

Typically, when it rains, it's for about an hour, and it's incredibly violent, then dry in half an hour.

rain dampened my creative bug for sure (pun intended). But I got a few cool panning shots in the rain. I'll post when i get through them all. I didnt realize how little shots I got off the track, really a bummer and miss opportunity, but I was more concerned with keeping warm in Aug!!!! and my feet dry.

Our car made a podium finish, so we at least have that!

Gary and his UK crew call that "lovely summer weather, mate!" and it is perfect for beers and ales in the pub, darts and ale and beers in the pub, and beers and ales in the living room at night, and beers and ales on the front porch after midnight and until the wee hours of the morning!
