Nice! Do you need any special gear to shoot an eclipse? I remember always being told never to look directly at them..

I miss Japan... spent the winter in Niseko (Hokkaido) then travelled Osaka/Nara/Kobe > Hiroshima > Nagoya > Tokyo .... wanted to make it down to Okinawa but didn't have the time, but I'm coming back in November for another 6 months so will hopefully be able to get some more travel in then!

I'm on the #3 train, very neat!

Your so lucky, I missed it here in Korea. I only seen the ending. I want to take a picture so badly too.

Thank you all, my fav are #2 & #3. I didn't use a special gear, just a solar filter and sunglasses. I'm here since 2008, love this place but same time ready to get out of here!!!

Where are you stationed at? I was in Okinawa in 2003-2004 on Kinser. To this day, I still talk about the food.

Hey OP.. can you post your settings you used to take those? I took a few this weekend, but didn't have near the turn out I hoped..

My husband's station is Kadena but we live in Awase, and the food is delicious. I will miss it.
