Sorry nothing of interest in any for me especially #1

2 and 4 are awesome.
what kind of PP did you do on those. 2 looks like pencil art

I would say 3 is probably my favorite.. No real subject in it but I still like it. The light post in 5 seems kind of out of place imo.

I keep seeing Sleepy Hollow in 2/3/4. They'd make great 20x30 prints to hang on a wall IMO. :D

Like 'em! I like what you've done post processing. Please share your techniques, as I would love to replicate. For some compositions, these techniques would be way overdone, but for your photos, they work IMHO. They look like illustrations for a wonderful work of fiction.

I like #3 the most. I think too many based on the same subject

Thanks all for your comments. I like to hear different opinions and whys. :)

Techniques for those who are interested: the last four are all textured in ps elements 8 (not that it matters, many editing programs are capable of the same thing) with around 3 to 5 different texture layers, selectively erased with opacity adjustments. Then the whole thing is flattened and then selectively burned and dodged. That's it. You just kind of go with it. Can't get the same result twice if you try...

The first one is an HDR. The 2nd, 3rd, and 5th are HDRs with some textures applied as above. The 4th was taken through a window screen and then textured.

#3 here....nice set!!

I'm still learning Elements. Did you come up with this process yourself, or is there a tutorial somewhere to help those of us still new to PSE be able too understand what you did, exactly?

Both. I learned about layers just wandering around the internet and then developed the process myself. I'm sure other people have come up with the same thing, though.

It's pretty easy, you could definitely google a tutorial on layers and find a good once easily. I dont have one handy. Basically, you open two or more photos at once, and place one at a time over the background image by moving the layer you want to place on top into a split screen view, and then use the little arrow tool with a cross (upper left hand corner, I dont know the name) to drag and drop it on top of the background image. There's a layers menu on the right hand side of the screen, and there you can change opacity and blending modes. You can use all the other tools on each layer, too. This is a pretty bad explanation, I know, but I really cant think of a better way to type it. :meh: But it's not hard, I promise.

I like the way you edited number 4! Looks like an old time photo that you would have seen during the civil war or something. Very cool!

i think the editing takes away from number 2, but i love #3!
