Some comments requested (1st pic post)

Hi guys

I found some young men playing Rugby in the street in front of my house and asked if I can photograph them.

I used a Canon EOS 30 wit 24-55 lens and 550ex Flash for fill in. I stayed close to the action and tried to stay on the wide abgle side of the lens.

I personally like the sense of movement in the pic.

What do you think ?

I just found this. I'm surprised you didn't get any comments. I love the sense of movement, too. You did a nice job with the fill flash, as well. That guy in the right corner bugs me, though. I'd crop him out.

nice shot,and i too like the sense of movement, but i do agree it needs a tighter crop from the right, and playing rugby on the road? ouch!

So this is in South Africa then?

I like the sense of movement and the sweet point (I hope that is the right expression for the one focal point where the photo is quite clear, while the rest has motion blur) - but you better "get rid of" (i.e. crop out) the half figure of the player on the right. I think others have said so before.

Yep , this is SA, although only the neigbourhood i find myself living in.

I sometimes wonder what the people on the other continents think and hear about SA.
