Uhhhhh...YES, indeed. Looking at these again, these are fine, fine fireworks images. Not the kind of cliched shots we often see, those with huge sky-filling displays over famous landmarks, but fine photos showing smaller-scale landscape stuff, and more-abstract and more photograph-y stuff!
Thanks- I really like those two a lot, as well. I like the way that the illuminated smoke in the background combined with the much closer tanks and foliage and made for a lot of depth. I was lucky that there was a steady breeze from right to left that swept the smoke away between each series of fireworks bursts.I love fireworks, But, to me pictures of fireworks are just pictures of fireworks. However I REALLY like 4 & 12 because of the building in the picture. Maybe it balances the fireworks. I'd like to know why those two are so appealing. Nicely done.
