Really like #4 a lot.
The crop on #1 is a bit too tight for my liking but it is a sharp shot.

Yes, Photo 4 has captured a neat expression in the gull's face (if you can say so about sea gulls ??).
How do you all get so close to the birds...!?!??!? :scratch:

Yes they were shot with the D50 with the NIKON AUTO FOCUS -70-300 F4-5.6 G that I got from KEH Camera Brokers, used but other than not coming in a box I say was new. Now I see it even came down in price 10 bucks!

I think it is so they can breath while pecking in the marsh, but I could be wrong. :stun:

There are a few around the area, but very very hard to find.

Funny thing the next shot the DOF was just the opposite, bird out of focus, boat in focus.
