Some musical macros

Hey guys,
I took these with my 35-80 which has the front element removed. This lens is really fun to shoot with and leaves me wanting a proper macro lens. I ended up liking these shots, so I thought I'd share! Any comments or critique would be appreciated.

The first two shots are from Concerto for Trombone and Military band by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (gotta love that low b flat fading into infinity) and the third is the speaker grille of my iPod speakers.
