Hi!

Just joined and i though i would share some of my photos with you.

I own a Canon 400d with 2 Canon EF lenses that must be 20 years old.
1 is a 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 and the other is a 70-210mm f/4.

#1) There is a strange reflection in the babies eyes and the image is a little dark, but I like it.

#2) I like the DOF, but think I would have made the seeds(?) that in the center of the frame my main subject (not leaving them in the center).

#3) Is a nice shot. All of the elephants nose should have been included in the frame.

#4) Is my favorite from these. I would crop out a lot of the empty space on the left.

#5) I'm not a fan of HDR images, and you were experimenting so I will not comment on the picture.

Thanks for the reply Paul.

The colours seem to have faded once i have uploaded them onto flickr, don't suppose anyone knows how to stop this.

I have changed the brightness of 4 in Photoshop. I wanted to give it that blown out effect, however do you think it just looks like the exposure was wrong in the shot?

Number 5 was the first time i have used HDR, didnt even know what it was before.
I'm sure it can look good in some arty shots, but it does look a bit gimmicky on the ones that have created.
