The leaf on the stones is something for the wall as a composition. A litle too much light is reflecting from some parts of the leaf. The portrait has a bit unfortunate distribution of shadows on the face.

add some faux film grain to the portrait, since it seems like you're going for that look anyway.

would have liked to have had something in one of the holes in #1. I like those kinds of shots as great backgrounds, but I think they fall a bit flat when they themselves are the subject. Something in one of the slots would give a nice juxtaposition and a bit more visual interest, imho.

1,2,3, all nice pictures! Well-done, I say. Not earth-shattering, but still, all well-done. The shot of your daughter seems to me to not have black-enough blacks for such a low-key shot. I think it needs a very careful, subtle re-work in processing to realize its full potential. Maybe crop in a bit on her too. Good going overall though.

The first 2 are very nice. I am partial to BW. I actually like the portrait. Her expression is a bit sadly confident. Her neck is slightly strained though. Great stuff though.

The leaf in the creek is my favorite. The leaf could use more definition. Nice b&w shot.

I really like how the flash worked on the portrait, how you can barely see her left eye but you know it's looking at you. Nice!
