The first one is a little cluttered, no one thing to focus on. It needs a little editing too it's rather dark and the colors are a little washed out. Here is just a little editing on your first one. for being so pretty, I think aspens are pretty hard to get good pictures of.

Here are a couple of aspen pictures. I found that I liked the pictures better when I concentated on the spaces and greenery between the aspens rather than the trunks themselves. This late afternoon light angle also made them both softer and more dramatic as well as making the green grass and plants a better color.

yea i didnt put them into photoshop (lazy), i like the first one of yours. next time i go down there i will try your idea of focusing on open green spaces more than just the trees

hi bunkwild,

some cool shots here...

1. I love aspen's, looks like drdan did a good job with the pshopping the shot... i like them too, if you get more shots in, I'd love to see them!

2. the car is nice, but it would be nice to get it out of the showroom here, the background stuff is a bit distracting though the colours are nice. Perhaps blur the background either with a great aperature or in pshop?

3. nice colours, good theme but nothing stands out. This shot offers alot of potential though. Perhaps a greater aperature to blur out the crowd. Also a close up of one these old heros would be great. These shots also have alot of potential in b&w as well. What the event here? We have Anzac day coming up and I will probably be taking alot shots like these!

it was a shot i took awhile ago at the Remembrance Day ceremony here in Calgary. The car really wasnt supposed to be a good picture just my dream car. 04 Subaru STI, BEAUTIFUL!!
