some shots with my new Canon 1.4x iii

i've had the second version for quite a while now, so seeing a difference between the two became quite apparent. the reviews generally say that optically its slightly better, but where you get your money's worth is how it achieves focus much faster. this alone gets you a much better keeper rate, so i say its money well spent.

all taken on a 7D2 with a Canon 100-400 ii @ 560mm.

Excellent shots. I have the 7D Mark ii and 100-400 ii as well and often thought about getting the 1.4 iii but wasn't sure how good it would be. Now I know.
