Nice work, esp the second one Last one seems OOF though ...

 

Several of them are soft or background focused and there is some pixelization on a few of them

Camera & lens
ISO
Exposure mode
Shutter Speed
Aperture
Focus modes & points
Editing software
Resizing process

 

The guy in the second picture got some serious air..
I find the last picture to be really soft on focus.

 

Try to crop them tighter in camera, wait for the action to get closer also exposures are very up and down. What camera and lens were you using ?

 

Thanks for the comments....using Olympus e-410 with kit lens and shooting with sports mode. Was first attempt with the camera at Soccer games. What do you mean by 'soft on focus'? Thanks again.

 

basically it means there is no sharp part in the image, it is all blurred

 

Ditch the sports mode, aperture priority biggest aperture and you will always get the highest speed for that aperture adjust ISO to get a speed above 1/400
