Head shots are great! Good detail, and eye focus is spot on. I feel the rest of the images, save the one goose are too far away to get the necessary detail.

Don't think I've never considered it...
Not sure how I'd handle my equipment though, I don't think it's that waterproof so I'd need to figure out a safe way to keep in above the water. xD

Buy the Nikon AW100 P&S. it's waterproof to 33 feet.

I'll just stick with my current camera for now, this hobby is expensive enough without the need for a second one. xD
