I like 4 and 5. Wasn't sure about the angle of 5 but, I think it works

Thanks. I actually shot #5 from the hip, and then returned and shot it properly. For me -- and obviously your mileage may vary -- I find the angled version works better for some reason. The level version is a tad boring.

I find photo 5 an interesting image and I agree, the angle works well here.

I like #4 but would be interested in seeing a portrait version. I don't know if portrait would be more interesting, showing the rest of the roof and some sky along with more of the path leading up to the doorway. Also, cutting the left edge of frame off at the edge of the building.

I like number 3, an example of good "selective color" of sorts. It draws you in without being the full focus of the photo. Number 2 would be a good advert if it didn't have the stranger in the foreground and only kept the lingerie models with a company logo/name. I like 7 as well for the simple fact its serious yet comical.

For those of you who want an example of selective color that is creative, interesting, and actually works, look no further than #3 here. I'm hyper critical of most uses of SC, but in this case, I have to stand up and applaud. Nice series on the whole. I really like 5 and 7.

I will sometimes use centred subjects, usually if I have symmetry. Your #1 does not work for me as it is asymmetrical with an inbalance of trees each side of the path.

Good point, Ron. It's certainly not one you'd want to frame.

Thanks again everyone.

Really impressive work. Good Job.
