Thank you, I was hoping the cat wasnt too small in frame. Wanted to see the space/atmosphere it lives in. Im happy with the composition on most of these but they look so still and boring to me.

Oh, I'm embarrassed now I didn't see the cat ! I like the figure walking shot - picture six. In taking another look, i think if you got into rotating (straightening) and cropping your images you could have some more engaging imagery in amongst these.

Now I view it larger, I see the focus on the cat.

Haha, exactly what I was frightened of. Not sure if that makes it better or worse. Cool you have too look deaply into it to see the the subject. Why I put the cat right in the middle. The other trick photo is the basketball court (last one). One of the lines on the fence is light post. The way it was composed makes it hidden. Some people have missed that.

6th one has a frame in a frame. It was just going to be the building. Then that character was walking by and I snapped him.

I know what you mean but as a rule, i think a strong image has impact even as a thumbnail.

Very true...

I'd like to be able to crop some of them like you said. Especially the guy at cvs but I dont even have iPhoto. Have a old powerbook g4 and cant find any free photo editing software. Photoshop is pointless because all I would ever do is crop if anything.

Any advice?

Are you running 10.3.9? I think there's a GIMP install somewhere on the net for Macs, but you need X11 windowing environment too. You know what i mean?
