Some trees for review

I am working on techniques to make my tree shots a little more dynamic and interesting. Here are a few where the contrast created by light and tree shape seemed to add some "movement". Any thoughts on the shots or on photographing trees in general?

I appreciate the reply sektabrand.... Just to clarify did you like all three or just the third? My main issue with the second pic is the tree limb coming into frame on the right side.

sorry :] I just liked the third. But I liked the third very much.

was judging composition wise. third pic cought the eye, tried to say something.

first, imo, is just for you and the second... just a pic of the tree. [also, i think, in any case, tree should "breath" from the upper side - crop is too close.

also - do not use those 1st-grade photoshop effect's as "frames" :]

seriously - if you would consider to make a widescreen wallpaper out of the third pic, I would probably use it :] cheerz

I agree on "letting the tree breath", just a lot going on in the frame that I didn't like. Definitely lost some of the isolation aspect on the tight crop but I stll like the tree..lol... Thanks for the comments on 3, very flattering, I also agree it is the best of the 3.... We'll see about the screen saver

I agree. #3 really grabs you. #2 would be improved by cloning out the random branches in the top right corner.
#1 is to busy.

Appreciate the feedback sleist.. Those in 2 branches bother me as well. I think we all agree 3 is the better of the lot.
