Thanks in advance guys!

#1 Decent. I like the framing of the photo. The panda seems out of focus, probably due to the surrounding foliage.

#2 Great focus. Color could use some touch up, and of course I would prefer to see the whole bird, as you can't really tell it's a Grey Heron.

#3 Also brilliant focus and detail, however again, I'm wondering what the whole bird looked like.

Keep shooting!!

Here's one of the whole bird in flight. I would have liked if the background was a little more blurred but the lens is only f/5.6.

That looks cool! I'll try something like that on my other shots and see do I get anything nice.

Maybe something like this?

Boosted contrast, lightened the image as a whole and added edge blur

Holy mackerel, I hope not. Its lost detail, overexposed and the color is off -- too much shift in yellow. The original is much better. My opinion.

Which lens did you use for that? The 18-55? If so incredible focusing!!! That ibis is one pissed off looking bird. Lol

Yeah :L I rented a 70-300 VR and I believe all the shots I posted were using it. The ibis one was through glass so I was lucky not to get glare considering they didn't give me the lens hood.

Fair enough. Do you have an edit to share to help us learn?
