That was just what MI5 wanted us to believe so we didn't find out about the security breach.
The Russian were gathering information about the robots who cleaned the shopping centre apparently (and what was deal of the week at Iceland, of course).

I heard a report about this today on NPR, most of annalists believe since the Russians arrested no one and fact this try of spy goes on all the time by everyone, they must have released is information of a reason, maybe because some of Putin people want their parliament to pass new laws to prevent foreign groups & governments for funding other political groups
