Something In The Way - Underneath The Bridge

This is really a spectacular bridge.
It rained shortly after which made for some sad looking clouds.

The second is the best of the two. Seems a bit dark though.

I thought the same thing, although when I increased the exposure at all It looked worse.

This one is brighter, although you can see the swallow nests.

Try messing with the Highlights/Shadows function in Photoshops if that's what you're using. It should be able to lessen the shadows while still keeping everything else looking right.

I think the "darkness" in #2 adds to the might of that shot.

Yeah I'm using Lightroom so I do have those options. I'll give it a shot Thanks

I like the brighter image but maybe somewhere between the two would be ideal. I know B&W is all about the contrast.

Here's the best I could manage with Shadows / Highlights.
I've noticed it greatly depends on your screen, I've looked at all of these on my work computer and they seem to be much brighter.
My home PC I have 3 Dell Ultrasharp Monitors that I've color calibrated, so I trust my screens.
