Sony SLT-A77 studio comparison samples: Digital Photography Review
I checked this camera out as it sounded very exciting in quite a few ways... it has some brilliant Tech inside it!
But at same time.. Low ISO images are very (Check out ISO 400) NOISY and the upper ISO's look dreadful compared to the Nikon D7000. A great camera that is let down from too many pixels (24MP on APS-C) it would seem or.... Sony's lack of ability to develop the sensor properly. Will be fascinating to see if Nikon do go ahead and use this sensor in the future and if they do.. will they get much better performance than Sony clearly has.
This post was partly inspired by a Sony shill in another post, who made the claim that the A77 was much better than any Nikon/Canon/Pentax DSLR. I had to check out just how good this new camera is, sadly it does not live up to the hype.
