I am looking for some non-slip tape for my camera grip, the thinner the better. Does any one know of a source for this & could you provide a link?

Thanks in advance,
mark

Grip tape at a skate shop? Or stair tred grip tape at Home Depot?

Thanks for the replies!
I found this after some Googling. It is 1/16" thick, should work great for camera grip. The skateboard grip tape is (usually) too thick & rough for my needs.

Grip Tape - Lee Valley Tools

Will order some this week & let you know how it works out.

You're sticking a tiny bit of this on the camera itself? Like for a thumb grip?

Hmm, I've been thinking about this too as my K-x doesn't have any grip on the thumb spot on the back of the body, just smooth plastic...

I'm interested in your results!

Found some "Cloth Friction Tape" at the Ace Hardware in town. 15 mil, 3/4"x60', $2.29. Works great! Cut a piece to fit on the front grip & the thumb spot on the back. Makes the grip feel more sure. And, there's enough for lots of applications if it wears & loses it's sticky!
