Space , the final Frontier (well sorta)

I took this shot in my Garage a while ago.

A balloon filled with cornstarch and puntured by a homemade dart.

Captured on a borrowed EOS 300d with a sound trigger to trigger the 500ex flash

What do you think ??

this is the coolest shot i've seen in a while around here...remminds me of the strobe light science experiment films we used to watch in school. i've never heard of a sound release device....neat!

Camera was set to bulb mode. Flash was 45deg of camera and set to 1/128th fo full power.

the flash is the triggered with a sound trigger that reacts to the noise of the balloon bursting.

after that , close the shutter and go for next shot.
