I somehow like Star Trek, maybe that's why I also like this photograph, but I really wonder what it actually depicts...?

Nope Hourglass, no debris, but roses.
Roses put on rings to display them and lit by some spots.
I aimed at the centerring and while I pushed the shutterrelease I turned around the barrel of my lens from 200mm to 70mm to get this effect.

Oh, I never would have guessed. I had a vague idea about the zoom-effect, but I really don't want to know what taking roses for debris tells us about my personality.
