Sparkling Violetear

[Donde]

For some reasonI couldn´t log on as Dondeando so I´ve re-registered as Donde. I have a hummingbird feeder on my deck and this is one of my visitors. Picture is cropped. I think it would have made a better picture if he´d kept his mouth shut.

I guess I haven't seen enough hummingbird photos to know, but it looks like his beak IS shut at the back. Maybe their beaks are just shaped like that?

I'm more distracted by the wind blowing up his plumage, but it is a nice shot at any rate!
