New chemistry and purely Platinum. I don't do too many of these because of the cost. 25ml of Platinum #3 is $132.00. With all the chemistry involved, plus the negative, plus the paper, for a platinum print it costs right at $13.50 for an 8x10. Fortunately, Bostick & Sullivan sells a complete chemistry package for Pt/Pd and also has a tutorial for making a curved negative per process and the paper coating and exposure is pretty simple. I built my exposure box using a Home Depot tote and 2, 50W 395Nm UV lights from Amazon and a Gralab timer I bought on Ebay. All total about$110.00.Wow, so crisp it almost has a 3d feel.
