House sparrow. Much maligned because they kill Tree Swallows and take over their nest holes in trees..Tree swaloow are in decline in the Niagara region becasue of them. All part of global warming. Fortunatley they still don’t come this far north, but I do have images of them and Tree Swallows from Niagara Falls.

Just for reference, a White Throated. White throats and yellow stripes across thier heads. Some are not as colourful as this one.
