Still undecided about it and it;s consistency of sharpness but it's probably me though. This was @ 500mm 1/800 f 7.1 ISO 1250 +1EVIMG_0938 by DarkShadow191145, on Flickr

Doesn't it get ridiculous? In a good / bad way.

I can clearly see breast feathers overlapping wing feathers. To me that is tack sharp. Maybe focus is in that area?

It sure does need lots and lots of light but I knew this already. Maybe I am spoiled with my L Glass that takes no effort to get tack sharp pictures or the need for sharpening in Post unless I shoot in raw of course.

That 70-200F4L IS is my first lens that made me go WOW, what a difference. I have not used it much lately, but it is still my favorite lens.

looks sharp to me too, not sure if its my monitor but the contrast settings look very different on the shots, i think somewhere between the two would be nice, well captured!

Nice to me. When I had the 150-500 it was sharpest at f8 at just under 500mm

Nice..Never heard of Bigma thou...

They are different to me to. I may have bumped one up more then the other or lighting had changed. Fixed there closer now.
