Speaker Testing

BTW cloudwalker, what kind of pre-amps/amplifiers were you looking into? I'm always curious to ask audiophiles about there preferences between transistor style and tube amplifiers.

None.

For the time being anyway...

And I am not an audiophile. Just a lover of music who stays within an assigned budget.

But I did get B&W CM9's.

What's funny is that I never liked B&Ws that much before.

She started me on some cheaper speakers and we kept going up and up in quality until I said stop.

One thing though is that I never even used any movie to test them. I figured, considering all my movies are NTSC and they would only be able to play PAL ones, I didn't want to cart in my DVD player on top of my amp to the different stores. I decided that if I went for good speakers for music, they would be more than fine for a home theater.

Anyways, I've been enjoying them all night.
