I'm not sure what kind of spider this is... it must be some kind of a Weaver Spider.
It is sitting out in a plant outside...

Ummm, I think you live in a spot that's full of creepy crawlies, that's what I think.

That's actually a pretty cool lookin' spider.
 
We have those big yellow guys, too, Chris. I think he's your "garden-variety" harmless garden spider....don't know the correct term.

They make huuuuuuuge webs and are fun to watch. (Even for people like me with a fear of spiders!) :lol:

I believe it's a sub-adult Argiope aurantia (Yellow Garden Spider). Beautiful shot!

i dont care if its poisonous or not, it still freaks me out!........ spiders, a darksiders achilles heal, how embarrassing :blushing: ....... cool shot btw :thumbup:
 
Whatever kind of spider this one is, it is very beautiful and its web the most artistic I have ever seen done by a spider.
And your photo shows the nicest of colours. Very nice! I like it a lot!
