Split Rock Lighthouse-Minnesota

This is a shot I took of Split Rock Lighthouse a few years ago with my 35mm and zoom lens. I really like it...but I think it would be better with some interesting clouds and in lower light. I do like the rocks on the right side.

You are right, this one is quite nicely composed, including the rock and trees on the right. Do you remember how far out you zoomed to get it like this. The nice day and clear blue sky gives the water a wonderful blue, so for that it was worth being there and taking the photo, though a couple of clouds would not have done any harm. But I also like it the way it is!!!
