I like the first and the third images the best.
In the first one, I kinda wish the "ghost" figure was moved to the right just enough that the big blob of ice/snow in the water didn't show through them. If they were right in between that ice/snow blob and the bigger, darker rock to the right, this would be just about perfect, imo.

What a beautifully captured scene. I agree with sm4him re the placement of the ghost in that 1st photo. Would have been the winner if not for that one issue. That being said, my favorite of these is the 2nd one. I love the sky with the longer exposure and I prefer the way the lighthouse looks partially silhouetted in the distance to the more detailed view of the 3rd and 4th shots.

I really like the second image! The clouds have a smooth look--like they're moving (they are!).
After that, the other images that follow, everything is frozen and harsh.
Guess I'm just a traditionalist!

I like the second one with the smooth clouds. Also wondering if the shadows on the cliff can be boosted just a little.

I prefer the partial silhouette of the lighthouse also. I think it makes the sky the focal point and stand out more.

Thanks, it was a 30sec exposure. It probably took me 10sec to walk over there and sit down, as you can see it was really icy. It was just an experiment but then turned out decent when I got home. Definitely going to bring some strap on ice cleats next time.
