I DOES have a certain "pencil drawing quality" to it...it's a delicate image, without a huge amount of detail...it's a "scene"...a "moment"...an "illustration".
I think that both versions are pleasing to look at. In a way, I actually like the original image with the branches at the top, which makes it seem like you were actually there, underneath trees that are aligned in a row, or next to one another...the branches also show a little bit of color fringing--a sort of photographic clue, or a camera lens signature, and because of those two things, I actually think I prefer the original image to the revised one. Still, both are lovely to look at. I like these types of delicate, fleeting, natural world photos.
