Sports photography lens

For tennis action, this question I find confusing.

Tripod + SteadyShoot can have unwanted effects on the camera.

Thats why the manual tells you to turn it off.

I have a lot to learn, and thanks to all of you, I've learned. Lot about frame rate and sports photography. I'll post some pics I took so you can see examples of what the actions I want to shoot.
