I just got a call from the local sports radio station. I'm going to be a guest co-host for the morning show on Monday.

I'm not a sports celebrity or anything but one of the hosts is going to be on vacation and they want some of the "fans" to co-host during the week.

I have never called the show but I quite often send in e-mails that they read on the air.

I'm pretty pumped...I even get to do my own little "sports rant".

Well, I was on the Radio and it went fairly well.

I was pretty quiet...I usually am. I put in my 2 cents on the sports stories and got a chance to read my pre-written sports rant.

It was a cool experience to be in the place and see how everything works. The regular host is a pretty cool guy...not really a journalist...just a radio guy who happened to get put on a sports show.

I heard a short replay of myself on the way to work after the show..."do I really sound like that?" I guess you never sound the same as you think you do.

My girlfriend called me after and said I did great. She even said that our dog heard my voice and was looking around the house for me.
