Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I just purchased a AF-S nikkor 17-55mm 2.8 G ED DX lens a couple of weeks ago and it has been working just grand. Today, I went out to take some photos and now there is a spot. I came home and cleaned both ends of the lens with a tissue and air, and as you can see...still a spot. When I look through the lens I can see a teeny tiny little spot, but both ends are spotless...now what? It is under warranty, should I send it in?

it looks more like sensor dust. try taking pictures with a different lens to confirm this.

It is still there with a different lens. The friggin camera is like 3 weeks old!
When I cleaned off the lens earlier, I blew some air in there also...should I try it again or what?

I would be very careful cleaning the camera, and probably would'nt used compressed air because of the propellants that can be left behind. (from what i read anyways) Someone else may contradict me.

Yeah, I just read about the oils and other things that the air has, so I wont be using that ever again. They shouldn't put "For Photography Equipment" on the darn can.
