Spring beauty in the North Bay ~ C&C Please

I am getting ready for my first spring here with my biz so i took a test run this afternoon. I have never shot out in the mustard fields before but they are a local favorite. I have a couple sessions coming up and am really nervous. I'm not even sure if i am capturing these right. I don't want these to be snap shotish so any advice you can give is appreciated.

I am not to sure what to do with a baby (she just turned 1) that is almost a toddler so I gave her a flower as she just stood there. She doesn't really walk yet

3yr old who barely stood still. I was trying out a shot with both the sky and field. How did i do?

Right before I left we came across this shack that had holes in the roof. (9 yrs old)

That last one is great. Nice use of back light and fill light.

The first ones are in need of some fill light. See how the bright sun has created dark shadows on the face & in the eyes? A reflector or flash would both work for some fill light.
