Reeally heavy vignetting...I have seen this in a lot of your recent pictures. I am not sure why you are vignetting almost to pure black at both lower corners.

@Derrel To me the dark brooding signifies winter/cold & the light on the flowers meaning warmth/spring...

As we talked about elsewhere, at first I wasn't thrilled but on review I grew to like it. The incongruous nature of the elements made me look deeper.

I think as artists we all go through various stages of expression. One of the advantages of not doing this for pay is the freedom to drift where the feeling takes us. It's a given that it won't please all the people all the time, but at the same time it allows us to explore and learn.

My usual MO in situations like this? Put the image away for a while. Then, decide if I really like it.
