Quick picture I took of my dog while out on our morning walk. Its not the most moving photo in the world but i like how it came out....Im just starting out with photography but i think my attempts have been good so far..

i think its a good shot ... i love the horizon and the shadows ... depending what u want to have ... my hubby would say, u may want to experiment with a "fill-in" flash or spot metering to add a little hightlight to the face (presuming the dog is the focus)


but if its the kind of shot i would do.. i would flip the script.... the horizon would be the subject as oppose to the dog ... thumbs up from my way ..

Very good to get the sky and dog. You're learning well to get down to the subjects level. Too many people photograph their pets from a standing position.
