sRGB or Adobe RGB

When i reset my camera today,it went to sRGB as default.
Is this correct to go to sRGB as default?
Nikon D-4 .

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: Best results are obtained by saving raw files (NEF) in which case it doesn't matter what color space you set on the camera. Color space assignment and management will then be done during the raw conversion process.
