I can't imagine the humidity of August! I haven't been for a couple years, I need to go back. I ate rabbit for the first and only time while dining there, I think it was in some gumbo?

It could have been gumbo. Or jambalaya.

Summers are long miserable all along the Gulf Coast. From May through October it pretty much sucks.

siesta key in the summer is like death, im sure its the same.. being along the gulf and all. maybe it was jambalaya. it was pretty awesome. I dont remember the resturant but there was a cat in there and the owners said it comes and goes. that cat sat next to me or on my feet for my entire meal!! Its awesome in new orleans, I think I cried a little at the airport on my way home lol
