Agree, decent set. The lighting is a wee bit harsh on the last two imo but the focus is good. What sort of diffusion (if any) do you have on your flash?

I use a twin head flash with opaque plastic covers it works quite well on most subjects but ladybirds are too shiny

That's my set up too but I have packed the head covers with white packing foam blocks that I cut up to fit. You should try it, it works a treat.

Here's a couple with said diffusion. Hope you don't mind me posting them in your Thread. If so, I'll take them down.
