Went another Honor flight, greeting 150 Vietnam vets from WI.

Went with just using the 70-200 this time to see what I could come up with using it.

When I shot a couple weeks ago I kept wishing I had my longer lens so I put it on to start and just never took it off.

Sometimes I like to challenge myself to use a specific lens in a specific scenario and see what I can come up with.

It was also really crowded so it kinda helped to be able to stand away from people and shoot around them.


@Derrel If you mean was the lens the reason for the colors then I don't know I just used my Tamron. it's no slouch...

I've been editing photos a little differently than I used to, but I never touch the colors/saturation.

These are great. People shots are difficult but I think the 70-200 gave you the ability to blend into the background and because it is fast you still got good bokeh.

Definitely; do you share these with the event? If not, I would recommend reaching out to them; you've captured some great images and it might mean a LOT to some of the Veterans!
