Statue of the Duke of Wellington - With Traffic cone

This statue is in the center of Glasgow outside the Gallery of Modern Art. The traffic cone was first placed on the head in the mid 1980s. Back then the authorities kept removing it only to find it back there a few days later, so now they leave it on.

The yobs in the US are doing much worse to our monuments.

LOL ... that is equally sad as it is rich. Maybe one should cut out some eye holes so the Duke can see.
