Wow! Those are some awesome shots, love the lighting! I have to ask though, even though the art is magnificent, what were those people thinking when they made all that creepy stuff? It's really out there even for now.

Thanks. These sculptures were based on ancient Greek legends which tended to be bloody. Perseus cutting the head of the gorgon Medusa and Hercules killing the giant Cacus as one of his trails.
