We want not only our members who reply to be more specific in their way of commenting/critiquing/critisising but also our original posters to be quite specific about the whys and hows of taking that particular photo, you see? I like this one a lot better than your Mark Twain shot and appreciate that this is taken at night and with the given light only, and that you blurred out the background here and make the statue thus stand out a lot more. It looks like an endearing scene captured in that sculpture there. And although I don't have an immediate solution of how you could have additionally lit up the man's face, I feel that it is the "dot on the i", as we would put it in my language, which is missing here.
